Jharkhand Man Admitted to Snehalaya for Medical Care and Rehabilitation

Manjeshwar, October 19, 2026: The Snehalaya Charitable Trust rescue team brought Mr. Dinesh Sardhar, a native of Rajnagar, Jharkhand, to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar, after he was found in a vulnerable and disoriented condition near Kanva Theertha Bus Stand, Thuminad Street, Manjeshwar, in Kasaragod district. He was admitted to the centre for medical evaluation, treatment, care and psychosocial support.

Mr. Dinesh Sardhar’s condition was brought to the attention of Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, by Mr. Muneer, an auto driver from Manjeshwar. Following the information, the Snehalaya team reached the location and safely brought him to the rehabilitation centre for necessary care and treatment.

At the time of admission, Mr. Dinesh was observed to be disoriented and experiencing hallucinations, grandiose delusions and reduced sleep. Considering his condition, medical attention and a safe, supportive environment were deemed necessary.

Mr. Dinesh is receiving care and support at Snehalaya, including medical assessment, personal care, safe accommodation, nutritious food and psychosocial assistance. The Centre aims to support his recovery, improve his well-being and help him regain stability through appropriate treatment and rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, the Snehalaya team will make efforts to trace his family members, relatives or acquaintances in Rajnagar, Jharkhand, and gather further information about his background. Once his family is identified and the necessary verification is completed, the team will work towards facilitating his safe reunification with his loved ones.
