ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 27, 2026: ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವೆನ್ಲಾಕ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಡಬ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮರ್ಧಾಳ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಆರೈಕೆಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಫಳ್ನೀರ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜೇಮ್ಸ್ ಆ್ಯಂಡ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ ಅವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಸಹಾಯದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಮನಗಂಡ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡವು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಆರೈಕೆಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿತು.
ವೆನ್ಲಾಕ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸಮೀಪದಿಂದ ಕರೆತರಲಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು 2026ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 24ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Supports Pradeep on His Path to Recovery
Manjeshwar, August 27, 2026: Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre has admitted Mr. Pradeep, a native of Mardhala in Kadaba Taluk, after he was found wandering in a vulnerable condition near Wenlock District Hospital, Mangalore.
Mr. Nikhil Pinto, a staff member of James & Company, Falnir, Mangaluru, noticed Mr. Pradeep’s condition and informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre. Recognising his urgent need for protection, care and professional assistance, the Snehalaya rescue team immediately reached the location and brought him safely to the centre.
Mr. Pradeep was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on August 24, 2026, for medical and psychiatric assessment, treatment, personal care, protection and comprehensive rehabilitation.
At the time of admission, he showed signs of poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, Alcohol Dependence Syndrome (ADS), hallucinatory behaviour and injury marks on his body. Considering his condition, the team identified the need for medical treatment, psychiatric evaluation, personal hygiene assistance, nutritious food, counselling, structured care and continuous rehabilitation support.
Mr. Pradeep is currently receiving safe shelter, medical and psychiatric care, nutritious food, personal hygiene support, counselling, psycho-social assistance and comprehensive rehabilitation services in a secure, compassionate and professionally supervised environment at Snehalaya.
