ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 01, 2026: ಕೇರಳದ ಪಾಲಕ್ಕಾಡ್ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜನ್ ಅವರು ಹೊಸಂಗಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಕಿಂಗ್ ಜ್ಯುವೆಲ್ಲರಿ ಸಮೀಪ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಆರೈಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಜುಲೈ 31, 2026 ರಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ತಂಬಾಕು ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಡಿ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಚಟ ಹಾಗೂ ನಡೆಯಲು ತೊಂದರೆ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಂಡ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

Snehalaya Rescues Vulnerable Man Found on Hosangadi Road, Provides Treatment and Care

Manjeshwar, August 01, 2026: Mr. Rajan, a native of Palakkad, Kerala, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a vulnerable and neglected condition near Gold King Jewellery on Hosangadi Road.

The matter was brought to the attention of Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta by Mr. Basheer. Upon receiving the information, the Snehalaya rescue team, under the leadership of Mrs. Olivia Crasta, Co-Executive Director, immediately reached the location and safely rescued Mr. Rajan, bringing him to Snehalaya for treatment, care, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Mr. Rajan was admitted to the centre on July 31, 2026. During the initial medical and psychosocial assessment, he was found to have poor personal hygiene, dependence on tobacco and beedi, and difficulty in walking. Considering his overall physical and psychosocial condition, the clinical team recommended comprehensive medical treatment, personal care, counselling, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Mr. Rajan is currently receiving medical treatment, counselling, personal care, and holistic psychosocial rehabilitation services at Snehalaya. The multidisciplinary team is committed to supporting his recovery and improving his overall health, well-being, and quality of life.
