ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜುಲೈ 23, 2026: ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಿನಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಸ್ಸಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಚರೈದೇವೋ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಪುನ್ ತಮುಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ಅವರ ಜಂಟಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ದುರ್ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಪುನ್ ಅವರು 2026ರ ಜೂನ್ 13ರಂದು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೊಸಂಗಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಪಾವೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಇಸ್ಮಾಯಿಲ್ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡವು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.

2026ರ ಜುಲೈ 19ರಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಪುನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರ, ಅತ್ತಿಗೆ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮ್ಮ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

After Three Months, Bittupun Tamuli Reunited with His Family
Manjeshwar, July 23, 2026: Mr. Bittupun Tamuli, a native of Charaideo district in Assam, who had been missing for nearly three months, was successfully reunited with his family through the joint efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.
Bittupun, who was suffering from mental illness and substance use-related problems, was found in a helpless condition near Hosangadi Road in Kasaragod district on June 13, 2026. Based on information provided by Mr. Ismail of Pavoor, the Snehalaya rescue team immediately reached the location, safely rescued him, and admitted him to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for treatment and rehabilitation.
Under the guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder and Managing Trustee of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Bittupun received continuous medical treatment, psychosocial care, and comprehensive rehabilitation services. He responded well to treatment, and his physical as well as mental health showed significant improvement over time.
Meanwhile, the Snehalaya team maintained regular communication with him and gradually gathered vital information that helped trace his family in Longpatia village, Charaideo district, Assam. After establishing contact with the family, he was referred to Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, to facilitate the family reunification process.
On July 19, 2026, Bittupun was emotionally reunited with his family in the presence of his brother, sister-in-law, uncle, and aunt. After several months of uncertainty, his family expressed immense happiness upon seeing him safe and healthy. They conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the teams of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation for their dedicated efforts in rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, tracing the family, and successfully reuniting him with his loved ones.
