ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ; ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲು
ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜೂನ್ 13, 2026: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮೂಲದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕುಂಡಪ್ಪು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೊಂದಲದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಅನೂಪ್ ಅವರು ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಜೂನ್ 12, 2026 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಇಲ್ಲದ ಧ್ವನಿಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಸುವ ಅನುಭವ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅನುಮಾನಪಡುವ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಗಂಭೀರತೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಯೋಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಅನೂಪ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ.

Manjunath Rescued by Kumble Police, Admitted to Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, June 13, 2026: Mr. Manjunath, a native of Shivamogga, was rescued by Kumble Police while he was wandering in a confused and helpless condition near Kundappu in Kumble, Kasaragod district. He was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for treatment and rehabilitation.
After receiving information, Kumble Police Station Sub-Inspector Anoop rescued Manjunath and safely admitted him to Snehalaya on June 12, 2026.
At the time of admission, Manjunath showed poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, hearing voices that were not present, and suspicious behaviour towards others. Understanding the seriousness of his condition, the police took immediate action to provide him with safe care and professional mental health support.
Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta, Manjunath is now receiving medical treatment, counselling, personal care and rehabilitation services.
Snehalaya thanked Sub-Inspector Anoop and the Kumble Police Station staff for their timely and compassionate response.
