ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 18, 2026: ಸುಮಾರು ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಜು ಅವರು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ತಂಡಗಳ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಯಮ್ಮಿಕೇರಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಸಂಜು ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 2025ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೈಸೂರು, ಗೋವಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕಡೆ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಸುಳಿವು ದೊರೆತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಸಂಜು ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಡಿ ರೇಗೋ ಅವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ 2026ರ ಜನವರಿ 25ರಂದು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.

ನಿರಂತರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ನಂತರ ಸಂಜು ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ತಂಡದ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 18ರಂದು ಸಂಜು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ, ಸಹೋದರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾವುಕವಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಂಜು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಂಡ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Sanju Reunited with Family After Eight Months Through Efforts of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation

Manjeshwar, August 18, 2026: In a heartwarming reunion, Mr. Sanju, a native of Dharwad who had been missing for nearly eight months, was successfully reunited with his family through the coordinated efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, and the Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

Sanju, a resident of Yammikeri, Dharwad, had reportedly wandered away from home following mental health difficulties. After he went missing in December 2025, his family searched extensively for him in several places, including Bengaluru, Mysuru and Goa, but were unable to trace him.

Sanju was later found in a vulnerable condition in the Mallikatte area of Mangaluru. Mr. Audi Rego informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, about his situation. Responding promptly, the Snehalaya team rescued Sanju and admitted him to its psychosocial rehabilitation centre on January 25, 2026.

At Snehalaya, Sanju received continuous medical care, psychosocial rehabilitation and supportive services. With consistent treatment and rehabilitation, his condition showed significant improvement. Efforts were also made to trace his family, and with the support of the Shraddha Foundation team, his family members were successfully located.

On August 18, 2026, Sanju was emotionally reunited with his father, mother, brothers and uncle. Seeing him again after eight long months brought immense happiness and relief to the family. They were advised to ensure that his prescribed treatment and medication are continued regularly for his sustained recovery and well-being.

The joint humanitarian efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation have not only helped restore Sanju’s health and dignity but have also brought him back to the love, care and security of his family, making the reunion a meaningful story of hope, rehabilitation and compassion.
