ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮೀನ್ ಶರಣ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂಬಳೆಯ ಬದ್ರಿಯಾ ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕುಂಬಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನೂಪ್ ಎಂ. ಅವರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು. ಮಾನವೀಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಕುಂಬಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತಂಡವು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮೀನ್ ಶರಣ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ತುರ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಮೀನ್ ಶರಣ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ 1, 2026 ರಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ಮದ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿ ಅವಲಂಬನೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ (Alcohol Dependence Syndrome – ADS) ಹಾಗೂ ಭ್ರಮಾತ್ಮಕ ವರ್ತನೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ತುರ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ನಿರಂತರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.

Snehalaya Admits Mentally Distressed Man Brought by Kumbla Police

Manjeshwar, June 2, 2026: A man identified as Mr. Ameen Sharan, a native of Jharkhand, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a distressed condition at Badriya Nagar, Kumbla, Kasaragod.

According to sources, Mr. Anoop M., Sub Inspector of Kumbla Police Station, noticed the condition of the individual and took immediate steps to ensure his safety and protection. Acting promptly on humanitarian grounds, the Kumbla Police team safely brought Mr. Ameen Sharan to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for immediate care, treatment, and psychosocial rehabilitation support.

Mr. Ameen Sharan was admitted to the centre on June 1, 2026. During the preliminary assessment, he was found to be suffering from poor personal hygiene, Alcohol Dependence Syndrome (ADS), and hallucination-related behavioural disturbances, indicating the need for urgent medical attention, psychiatric care, continuous supervision, counselling, and rehabilitation support.

Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team has initiated essential treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation measures to support his recovery and overall well-being. Compassionate care and regular monitoring are currently being provided at the centre as part of the ongoing intervention process.
