ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2026: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಲಿನಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪಣಂಬೂರು ಬೀಚ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಲಿನಿ ಅವರ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಪಣಂಬೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಾನ್ಸ್‌ಟೇಬಲ್‌ಗಳು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೀಮಾ ಕೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಲಿನಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದರು. 2026ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 30ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 6:30ಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಲಿನಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಗುರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ TDS ಮತ್ತು ADS ಎಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ, ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಲಿನಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಸತಿ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕ ಆಹಾರ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Care and Rehabilitation of Helpless Woman Mrs. Shalini from Shivamogga at Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, November 1, 2026: Mrs. Shalini, a helpless woman from Basaveshwara Colony in Shivamogga district, was rescued from the Panambur Beach area of Mangalore and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center in Manjeshwar. The process to provide her with necessary shelter, care, treatment, and rehabilitation services has begun.
Police constables Mrs. Seema K. and Mrs. Sridevi of Panambur Police Station, who noticed Mrs. Shalini’s helpless condition, brought this matter to the attention of Snehalaya. They played a key role in safely bringing Mrs. Shalini to Snehalaya. She was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center at 6:30 PM on October 30, 2026.
At the time of admission, Mrs. Shalini showed signs of poor personal hygiene, wandering without a specific purpose, and symptoms recorded as TDS and ADS. Considering her health condition, necessary medical evaluation, appropriate treatment, maintenance of personal hygiene, and continuous professional care are required.
Currently, Mrs. Shalini is being provided with safe accommodation, personal care, nutritious food, medical assistance, and psycho-social support at Snehalaya. Medical supervision and further treatment will be undertaken as needed according to her health status.
Under the compassionate leadership of Brother Joseph Crasta, founder and managing trustee of Snehalaya, the institution continues its mission to rescue and provide a dignified life to the homeless, helpless, abandoned, and distressed individuals. The main objective of the institution is to bring recovery in their lives through proper medical and psycho-social care, reunite them with their families if possible, and help them reintegrate into mainstream society.
