2026ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2ರಂದು, ತ್ರಾಸಿ ಬೈಪಾಸ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗಯಾ ಲಾಲಾ ಯಾದವ್ ಅವರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಶ್ರೀ ಇಬ್ರಾಹಿಂ ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

Bihar Native Gaya Lala Yadav Found Helpless Near Thrasi Bypass, Receives Rehabilitation Care at Snehalaya

Manjeshwar, October 5, 2026: A man from Bihar, Mr. Gaya Lala Yadav, who was found wandering in a helpless and disoriented condition near Thrasi Bypass in Udupi district, has been safely admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, Manjeshwar, for shelter, medical care and comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation.

On October 2, 2026, social worker Mr. Ibrahim Gangolli noticed Gaya Lala Yadav wandering in a vulnerable condition in the Thrasi Bypass area. Concerned about his safety and wellbeing, he informed Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust.

Following the information, Mr. Wilson Rebello of Divine Care Ambulance Service, along with Mr. Ibrahim, safely brought Gaya Lala Yadav to Snehalaya and handed him over for rehabilitation care. The Guardian Angel team, Rebero Compound, Bandar Road, Gangolli, Kundapura Taluk, Udupi, also extended necessary support during the process.

At the time of admission, Gaya Lala Yadav was found to have poor personal hygiene, wandering behavior, physical weakness and disorientation. Considering his physical and mental condition, Snehalaya is currently providing him with safe shelter, personal care, nutritious food, necessary medical treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation services.

The Snehalaya team will continue to closely monitor his health and wellbeing while making efforts to trace his family members and establish his correct residential details. Once his health improves and his family information is verified, necessary steps will be taken to facilitate his safe reunion with his family.
