ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 21, 2026: ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರಂಬಿಲ್, ಕೋಝಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸಿ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಪಿ. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಲಂಬಾಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸಿ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 4, 2026ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸೈಕೋ-ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಹಿನ್ ಅಲಂಬಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಆಧರಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಹೌಸ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜೀಶ್ ಎ. ಅವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿದ್ದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರಣ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸಿ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ, ತಾನೇ ನಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮರಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಅಜಿಮ್ ಪ್ರೇಂಜಿ ಫಿಲಂಥರೋಪಿಕ್ ಇನಿಟಿಯೇಟಿವ್ಸ್ (APPI) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮನ್ವಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 11, 2026ರಂದು, ಕಿರಣ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಸಿ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇರಳದ ಕುರುವಟ್ಟೂರು, ಪರಂಬಿಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಂದ್ರನ್ ಪಿ. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತಂದೆಯವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕುಟುಂಬ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಹಕಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

After Six Months, Kiran Chandra C. Reunited with His Family Following Care at Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, September 21, 2026: In another successful family reunion facilitated through rehabilitation and coordinated family-support efforts, Mr. Kiran Chand C, a native of Parambil, Kozhikode, was successfully reunited with his father, Mr. Chandran P, on September 11, 2026. Kiran Chand C was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on March 4, 2026, after being found wandering in Alambadi Street. He was brought to Snehalaya by Mr. Sujeesh A, Station House Officer, Vidhyanagar Police Station, following information provided by Mr. Mahin Alambadi.
At the time of admission, Kiran Chand C was reported to display wandering behaviour, self-smiling, aggressive behaviour and irrelevant talk. Following his admission, he received care, medical attention, psychosocial support and rehabilitation in a safe and supportive environment at Snehalaya.
During his stay, the Snehalaya team worked towards his recovery and family reintegration. As part of the reunion process, necessary arrangements were coordinated under the Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives (APPI) programme to facilitate his safe return to his family.
On September 11, 2026, Kiran Chand C was successfully reunited with his father, Mr. Chandran P, at Parambil, Kuruvattur, Kerala. His father received him, marking an emotional and meaningful step towards his return to family life and continued support within his home environment.
The successful reunion highlights the importance of timely intervention, rehabilitation, family tracing and coordinated community support in helping vulnerable individuals reconnect with their loved ones.
