Destitute and Unwell Man Receives Treatment and Care at Snehalaya
Manjeshwar, September 20, 2026: A destitute and unwell man, identified as Mr. Azaduddin Ali, a native of Chaudhana, Uttar Pradesh, was brought to Snehalaya after being found in a distressed and unwell condition on Gangolli Road in Kundapura Taluk, Udupi district.
Mr. Azaduddin Ali was admitted to Snehalaya on September 4, 2026, following information provided by Mr. Abrar, a driver with MHI Ambulance Services 24×7, Gangolli. After noticing him in an unwell condition, Mr. Abrar informed Br. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, and personally brought him to Snehalaya for further care and treatment.
At the time of admission, he was observed to have poor personal hygiene, self-talking, excessive psychomotor activity, swelling and an injury mark on his right leg, and an injury to the head.
Mr. Azaduddin Ali is currently receiving medical treatment, personal care, and necessary psychosocial support at Snehalaya. The Snehalaya team continues to provide him with appropriate care and treatment while closely monitoring his health and supporting his overall well-being.
