ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 19, 2026: ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಸಾವಂತ್ ಅವರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನ ನಿರಂತರ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 16ರಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಮುಂಬೈನ ಭಾಂಡೂಪ್ ವೆಸ್ಟ್ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ತೀವ್ರಗೊಂಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 21, 2026ರಂದು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಬಳಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.

ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಿರದ ಅಥವಾ ತಪ್ಪು ನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬುವುದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡ ಬಳಿಕ ಮೇ 26, 2026ರಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪತ್ತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ ಮುಂಬೈಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ತಂಡವು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನಿರಂತರ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದಿಂದ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 16ರಂದು, ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ದೀರ್ಘ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಅನುಸರಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Rajesh Sawant Reunited with Brother After Two Years of Separation

Manjeshwar, August 19, 2026: After being separated from his family for nearly two years due to mental health challenges, Mr. Rajesh Sawant of Maharashtra was successfully reunited with his brother on August 16, 2026, following continuous care, rehabilitation, and family tracing efforts by Snehalaya Charitable Trust in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

Rajesh, a resident of Bhandup West, Mumbai, had travelled to Kerala in connection with employment. As his mental health condition worsened, he lost contact with his family and had reportedly been wandering away from home for nearly two years.

On April 21, 2026, Rajesh was found in a helpless condition near a roadside in Manjeshwar by local auto-rickshaw driver Mr. Badruddin, who immediately informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Responding promptly, the Snehalaya team reached the location, rescued Rajesh, and admitted him to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for care and treatment.

At the centre, Rajesh received medical treatment, counselling, personal care, and psychosocial rehabilitation services. During the clinical assessment, symptoms involving firmly held false beliefs were identified. With regular treatment and supportive care, his condition gradually improved.

Following his improvement, Rajesh was transferred to Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, on May 26, 2026, for further rehabilitation and family tracing.

Through the persistent efforts of the Shraddha team, with the continued support of Snehalaya, Rajesh’s family was successfully located. Finally, on August 16, 2026, after nearly two years of separation, Rajesh was joyfully reunited with his brother.

His family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the teams of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation for their compassionate care and dedicated efforts in bringing Rajesh safely back to his family. The family was also advised to ensure continuity of his treatment and was provided guidance regarding medication and regular medical follow-up.

The timely humanitarian response of an auto-rickshaw driver, the compassionate rehabilitation provided by Snehalaya, and the dedicated family tracing efforts of Shraddha Foundation together transformed Rajesh’s long period of separation into a heartwarming family reunion.
