ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 13, 2026: ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆಶ್ರಯ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ. ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪಾಲಕುನ್ನು ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಕುಂಜತ್ತೂರು–ತುಮಿನಾಡು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 12, 2026ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರು ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿತು.

ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವತಃ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕ ಆಹಾರ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ಹಾಗೂ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಶ್ರೀ ಬದ್ರುದ್ದೀನ್ ಅವರ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಕುಂಜತ್ತೂರು–ತುಮಿನಾಡು ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮನೋ–ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸೂಕ್ತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ, ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Badhrudeen from Palakunnu Rescued from Manjeshwar Street, Admitted to Snehalaya

Manjeshwar, August 13, 2026: A man found wandering aimlessly in a vulnerable and helpless condition has received safe shelter through the compassionate intervention of Snehalaya. Mr. Badhrudeen, a native of Palakunnu, Kasaragod, was found wandering along the Kunjathur–Thuminad Road in Manjeshwar and was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on August 12, 2026, for treatment, care, and comprehensive rehabilitation.

Mr. Badhrudeen’s vulnerable condition came to the attention of Mrs. Olivia Crasta, Secretary-cum-Trustee of Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Responding promptly, a Snehalaya rescue team led by Mrs. Olivia Crasta reached the location and safely brought Mr. Badhrudeen to the rehabilitation centre.

At the time of admission, Mr. Badhrudeen exhibited poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, and self-talking behaviour. Considering his condition, the Snehalaya team immediately provided him with necessary personal care, hygiene support, nutritious food, medical assistance, and psycho-social support.

Currently, a comprehensive psycho-social assessment is being conducted to evaluate Mr. Badhrudeen’s physical and mental health, family background, and the circumstances that led him to the Kunjathur–Thuminad area of Manjeshwar. Snehalaya is committed to improving his health and overall well-being through appropriate medical treatment, counselling, personal care, and rehabilitation services.

Guiding those who have lost their way towards safety, restoring dignity to individuals in vulnerable circumstances, and reuniting those separated from their families with their loved ones remain at the heart of Snehalaya’s humanitarian mission. Efforts are being made to establish contact with Mr. Badhrudeen’s family and, following appropriate treatment and rehabilitation, to facilitate his safe reunion with them.
