ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 08, 2026: ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಅಗಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಗೆ ತೆರೆ ಎಳೆಯುವ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಫತೇಪುರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅವಿವಾಹಿತರಾದ ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ನಾಪತ್ತೆ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ತೀವ್ರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾಗಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಕಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಕೂಡ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.

ಜೂನ್ 14, 2026ರಂದು, ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ತ್ರಾಸಿ–ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಇಬ್ರಾಹಿಂ ಅವರು ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಆಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಅವರು ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿದ್ದರು.

ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಗುರುತು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ಅವರ ಸಂಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 7, 2026ರಂದು ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಹೋದರರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಭೇಟಿಯಾದ ಕ್ಷಣ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜಾಕ್ಸನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

Jackson Singh Reunited with Family After Three Years of Separation

Manjeshwar, August 08, 2026: In a heartwarming reunion that brought an end to three long years of separation and uncertainty, Mr. Jackson Singh, a native of Fatehpur district, Uttar Pradesh, was successfully reunited with his elder brother and relatives through the persistent efforts of Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre.

Jackson Singh, who is unmarried, had been missing from his family for nearly three years. No missing-person complaint had been registered by the family. Their severe financial difficulties had also made it challenging for them to search for him.

According to information provided by his family, Jackson had been experiencing mental health problems for the past four years but had never received treatment. Before the onset of his mental health difficulties, he was engaged in agricultural work in his native village. His father had passed away several years ago, while his younger brother, who had experienced mental health problems since childhood, died two years ago.

On June 14, 2026, Jackson was found wandering in a helpless condition in the Trasi–Gangolli area of Kundapura, Udupi district. Mr. Ibrahim of Gangolli informed the concerned persons about his condition, and ambulance driver Mr. Vikas Mogaveera safely brought Jackson to Snehalaya for care and treatment.

At the time of admission, Jackson showed poor personal hygiene, wandering behaviour, self-muttering, and inappropriate smiling. His condition indicated the need for psychiatric treatment and psycho-social rehabilitation.

Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Bro. Joseph Crasta, the Snehalaya team provided Jackson with regular psychiatric treatment, medication, counselling, rehabilitation, and compassionate care.

Tracing Jackson’s family proved to be a challenging task. Based on the information he was able to provide, the Snehalaya team searched for a village named Baheriya in Khaga Tehsil, Uttar Pradesh. However, as there were three villages with similar names, no one was initially able to identify him. With the valuable assistance of the Khaga Police, the team eventually located his actual village and successfully established contact with his elder brother.

After confirming the family’s identity and details, Snehalaya, in collaboration with Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation, Mumbai, successfully reunited Jackson Singh with his elder brother and relatives on August 7, 2026. The moment the brothers met after three years of separation was deeply emotional, with both Jackson and his brother expressing immense happiness and relief.

Jackson’s family resides at Chhota Rasulpur Sani, Vijayipur, Khaga Tehsil, Fatehpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Despite facing severe financial hardship, the family welcomed him home with love and happiness. His elder brother and mother will now take responsibility for his continued care. Necessary medicines were provided to ensure continuity of treatment, and the family was advised to approach Government Hospital, Fatehpur, for further treatment and medical follow-up.

This successful reunion stands as another testimony to Snehalaya’s humanitarian mission of rescuing persons with mental health conditions who are found wandering in helpless circumstances, providing them with treatment and rehabilitation, tracing their families, and helping them return home with dignity.
