ಮೂಡುಬಿದ್ರೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಅವರು ಗೆರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಉಪನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಎಸ್. ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು, ಜುಲೈ 27, 2026 ರಂದು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿಗಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಅವರು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಮದ್ಯ ವ್ಯಸನ (Alcohol Dependence Syndrome – ADS), ತಂಬಾಕು ವ್ಯಸನ (Tobacco Dependence Syndrome – TDS), ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Admits Mr. Shreedhara Found Wandering at Gerukatte

Manjeshwar, July 29, 2026: Mr. Shreedhara, a native of Moodbidri, was found wandering in a vulnerable condition at Gerukatte. Considering his condition and the need for immediate care, the Manjeshwar Police intervened and ensured his safety.

Acting promptly, Mr. Vishnu S., Sub-Inspector of Police, Manjeshwar, brought Mr. Shreedhara to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, where he was admitted on July 27, 2026, for treatment, care, and rehabilitation.

At the time of admission, Mr. Shreedhara was found exhibiting wandering behaviour, Alcohol Dependence Syndrome (ADS), Tobacco Dependence Syndrome (TDS), injuries to his knees, and poor personal hygiene. He was immediately provided with safe shelter, necessary medical attention, and professional care.

Under the compassionate guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya, Mr. Shreedhara is currently receiving medical treatment, counselling, necessary healthcare support, personal care, and comprehensive psycho-social rehabilitation services at the centre.
