ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜುಲೈ 27, 2026: ಬಿಹಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸೀತಾಮರ್ಹಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸೈಧರ್ ಶಾಹಾ ಅವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಲಾಲ್ಬಾಗ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಬ್ಬಾಸ್ ಐಸ್ಕ್ರೀಂ ಪಾರ್ಲರ್ ಸಮೀಪ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಮರೀಟಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಿನ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಅವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೈಕೆಗೆ ನೆರವು ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸೈಧರ್ ಶಾಹಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು, ಜುಲೈ 25, 2026ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ, ತನಗೆ ತಾನೇ ನಗುವುದು, ಶ್ರವಣ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಅಗತ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Rescues Mohammad Saidhar Shaha Found Wandering Near Pabbas Ice Cream Cafe
Manjeshwar, July 27, 2026: Mr. Mohammad Saidhar Shaha, a native of Sitamarhi District, Bihar, was found wandering in a vulnerable and distressed condition near Pabbas Ice Cream Parlour, Lalbagh, Mangaluru. Noticing his condition, Mrs. Mareeta Christine D’Souza of Mangaluru immediately informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya, and requested assistance to ensure his safety and well-being.
Upon receiving the information, the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre team promptly reached the location, safely rescued Mr. Mohammad Saidhar Shaha, and admitted him to the centre on July 25, 2026.
At the time of admission, he was found exhibiting wandering behaviour, smiling to himself, auditory hallucinations, and irrelevant speech. Considering his condition, he was immediately provided with a safe shelter, necessary medical treatment, and professional care.
Under the compassionate guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, Mr. Mohammad Saidhar Shaha is currently receiving medical treatment, counselling, personal care, and psycho-social rehabilitation services at Snehalaya.
