ಸಂಗೀತದ ಸೊಬಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಸೆದು,
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಧ್ಯೇಯಕ್ಕೆ
ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ಸೇತುವೆಯಾಯಿತು

2009 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭವಾದಾಗಿನಿಂದ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ , ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಿ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಕಾಯಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ 17 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು 1,800 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಸನ ಮುಕ್ತ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಹಲವು ಯುವ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ತರಹದ ವ್ಯಸನಿ ದಾರಿ ದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಅವಲಂಬನೆ, ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳು, ಮದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ವ್ಯಸನಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಚೇತರಿಕೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಅವರು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳು, ದೈನಂದಿನ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸರಬರಾಜುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಸಂಭಂದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು, ಜೂನ್ 21, 2026 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಟೌನ್ ಹಾಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ – 54 ನೇ ಕೆವಿನ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ರಸಮಂಜರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ – ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿತು, ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಹರ್ಷೋದ್ಗಾರಗಳು, ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಚಲ ಗಮನವು ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. 300 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರಿಯರು ಟಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೇ ನಿರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಚೇರಿಯು ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಕೆವಿನ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಅವರ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಮರಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿತು. “ಕೆನ್ನ ಕೆನ್ನ” ಮತ್ತು “ತೆಂಬೆ ತೆಂಬೆ” ನಂತಹ ಅವರ ಕಾಲಾತೀತ ಹಿಟ್‌ಗಳು ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯುದ್ದೀಕರಿಸಿದವು, ಆದರೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು, ಆಂತರಿಕ ಆತ್ಮಾವಲೋಕನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ಸಮಾಜದ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವ ಅವರ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವು.

ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನವನ್ನು ವೆಡ್ಸನ್ ಇವರು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಕಾರ್ಯ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಕರಾದ ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ರೇಗೊ, ಟೈಟಸ್ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ, ಜಿಯೋ ಡಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶೆಲ್ಡನ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಬಹಳ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು. ಕೆವಿನ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಪ್ರತೀಭಾವಂತ ಗಾಯಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಮಂತ್ರಮುಗ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾಅವರನ್ನು ಟೀಮ್ ಮೈಲ್‌ಸ್ಟೋನ್ ಈವೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೊಡಕ್ಷನ್ಸ್ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲ್ಫೋನ್ಸ್ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಅವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ, ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಿಜ್ಜಿ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಕೆವಿನ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಅಲ್ವಾರೆಸ್, ದಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಮಿನೆಜ್ಜಸ್, ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರರಾದ ಜಾಯ್ಸ್ ಒಜಾರಿಯೊ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ ರೆಮಿಂಬಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Music with a Mission The 54th Kevin Misquith Musical Concert in aid of Snehalaya Charitable Trust(R) was a resounding success, bringing together hearts for a noble cause

Since its inception in 2009, Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mangalore, has been dedicated to transforming lives by rescuing and rehabilitating individuals with mental health issues. Over the past 17 years, the organization has successfully supported the recovery and reintegration of more than 1,800 patients back into their families, enabling them to lead normal, fulfilling lives.
In addition to mental health initiatives, Snehalaya has established a renowned de-addiction center that has become a beacon of hope in the community over the past two years. This center offers treatment for various addictions—including mobile phone dependency, drugs, alcohol, and behavioral disorders—and has garnered widespread appreciation for its successful recovery outcomes.
To support their ongoing projects, infrastructure needs, daily medical supplies, and various community support programs, a grand musical event—the 54th Kevin Misquith Musical Concert—was held on June 21, 2026, at Mangalore Town Hall.
The event was a resounding success, with a full house and an enthusiastic audience whose cheers, applause, and unwavering attention throughout the performance attested to the evening’s excellence. Over 300 music enthusiasts were unable to secure tickets and had to return disappointed.
This concert marked Kevin Misquith’s much-anticipated return after seven years. His timeless hits like “Kenna Kenna” and “Thembhe Thembhe” electrified the crowd, while his latest compositions tackling social issues, inner introspection, and hope for a harmonious society received exceptional praise.
The musical direction was skillfully led by Wedson, while distinguished master of ceremonies Leslie Rego, Titus Noronha, Geo D Silva, and Sheldon Crasta hosted the event beautifully. Over fifteen renowned singers, including Kevin Misquith, mesmerized the audience with their soulful performances and energetic dance routines.
Brother Joseph Crasta was felicitated by Team Milestone Events and Productions. Snehalaya’s founder expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors with floral bouquets. On behalf of the key sponsor of the event Mr. Alphonse Lasrado, who was absent his sister Ms. Lizzy Lasrado, was felicitated. Kevin Misquith was also honoured with a memento as a token of gratitude by Snehalaya during the event.
Prominent personalities such as Shri Joseph Menezes, Joyce Ozario, Vishwas Remimbas, and Stany Alvares, President of the Karnataka Konkanni Sahitya Akademy, graced the occasion, adding to the event’s significance.
