ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಕಳಂಗಾರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಉಪನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜನ್ ಎಂ.ವಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರೈಕೆ, ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೇ 16, 2026 ರಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಭ್ರಮಾತ್ಮಕ ವರ್ತನೆ, ಕಿರಿಕಿರಿ ಸ್ವಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಗಳಂತಹ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ತುರ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಚೇತರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Snehalaya Admits Mentally Distressed Man Found at Kalangara, Kasaragod

Manjeshwar, May 17, 2026: A man identified as Mr. Ganesh, a native of Rajasthan, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre after being found in a mentally distressed condition at Kalangara, Kasaragod.

According to sources, the matter came to light when the Kasaragod Police informed Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta about the man’s condition. Acting promptly on the information received, Mr. Rajan MV, Sub-Inspector of Kasaragod Police Station, along with the concerned authorities, facilitated his safe transfer to the rehabilitation centre for immediate care, protection, and support.

Mr. Ganesh was admitted on May 16, 2026. During the preliminary assessment, he was found to be suffering from poor personal hygiene along with psychiatric complaints including aggressive behaviour, hallucinatory behaviour, irritability, and irrelevant talk, indicating the need for urgent psychiatric attention, supervision, and psychosocial rehabilitation care.

The Snehalaya team has initiated essential treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation measures to support his recovery and well-being. Continuous monitoring and compassionate care are being provided at the centre as part of the ongoing intervention.
