ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೀರಟ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಲಕ್ಕಿಪುರಾ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ರಿಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲಿಟೇಷನ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ನ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾದರು.
ವಿಚ್ಛೇದನ ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಯಿಯ ನಿಧನದ ನಂತರ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಅವರು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಕಾಣೆಯಾದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
2026ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 4ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕೂಳೂರು ಸ್ಟ್ರೀಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನದ ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ಆಕ್ರಮಣಕಾರಿ ವರ್ತನೆ, ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುವುದು, ನಗುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿದ್ದು, ತುರ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿತ್ತು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡದ ಆರೈಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಮೂಲಕ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು. ನಂತರ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಮೂಲಕ, 2026ರ ಮೇ 9ರಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಮರುಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Snehalaya Helps Reunite Missing Uttar Pradesh Man with Family After Two Years
Manjeshwar, May 10, 2026: Mr. Mohammad Rizwan Ansari, a native of Lakkhipura village in Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh, was successfully reunited with his brother and family after being missing for nearly two years through the efforts of the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre and Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation.
Rizwan reportedly became mentally disturbed following his divorce and the death of his mother . Though he had been undergoing treatment for mental illness in Delhi for nearly ten years, he went missing from home, and a missing person complaint was lodged by his family.
He was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on February 4, 2026, after being found in a distressed condition at Koolur Street, Mangalore, by the Snehalaya team. During assessment, he showed aggressive behaviour, self-talking, self-smiling, and poor personal hygiene, requiring psychiatric care and rehabilitation support.
Under the guidance of Snehalaya Founder Br. Joseph Crasta and the care provided by the Snehalaya team, Rizwan gradually improved through treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation. After successful follow-up and coordination, Rizwan was reunited with his brother and family on May 9, 2026.
The reunion was emotional, and the family expressed deep gratitude and happiness at his safe return. Two months’ medicines and follow-up counselling were also provided to the family.
