Snehalaya Reunites Mr. Babu T with His Mother in Thiruvananthapuram
Manjeshwar, April 11, 2026: In a deeply emotional and heart-touching moment, the team of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, under the compassionate leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, successfully reunited Mr. Babu. T, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, with his family after a period of distress and uncertainty, bringing immense relief and joy to his loved ones.
Mr. Babu T was found in a vulnerable and neglected condition near Mangaluru Railway Junction, silently enduring emotional and physical hardship. He was safely rescued and admitted on January 13, 2026, to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre, where he received timely care, protection, and psychosocial support in a safe and dignified environment.
With persistent efforts, dedicated follow-up, and compassionate coordination under the Azim Premji Philanthropic initiative, the Snehalaya team successfully traced his family. The reunion was carried out on April 11, 2026, at his sister’s residence in T.B. Junction, Poovar, Thiruvananthapuram, where he was warmly received by his mother, Mrs. Alphonsa. The reunion was marked by tears of joy and heartfelt emotions, as a mother embraced her son once again after a painful phase of separation.
