ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ವಿಯೋಗದ ನಂತರ, ಇಂದು ಒಂದು ಮನೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತು.

ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ದೂರದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಾದ ಗನ್ ಬಾರ್ಕಾ ಟೋಲಿ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲುತ್ತು ಬುದ್ಧು (ಮಂಸಿಡ್ ಟೋಪ್ನೋ) ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಹೊಸ ಆರಂಭದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ದೂರವಾದ ಅವರು, ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ದುಃಖ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಂಕದ ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಳ್ಳಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ನಡುವೆಯೇ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದದ್ದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್(ರಿ). ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಂದು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಮೊದಲು ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಕಟ್‌ನ ಕುತಿರವಟ್ಟಂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲುತ್ತು ಬುದ್ಧು ಅವರನ್ನು, 2026ರ ಜನವರಿ 09ರಂದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಸಮಗ್ರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪತ್ತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಅವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ನಂತರ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ರೀತಿಯ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ, ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಔಷಧೋಪಚಾರ, ದೈನಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನಃಸೇರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಸೇರಿದ್ದವು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ “ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಶಾ” ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ, ತಂಡದ ನಿರಂತರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ತಾಳ್ಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ, ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

2026ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 31ರಂದು, ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್‌ನ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಢ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಬೀನಾ, ಮಗ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗಳು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿದ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದು, ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ಸಂತೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿತು.

Family Reunion Brings Hope: Snehalaya Reunites Mr. Luttu Budhu with His Family After Five Years

Manjeshwara, April 09, 2026: In a deeply moving example of humanity, compassion, and dedicated service, Snehalaya Charitable Trust has once again accomplished a heart-touching mission. Under the inspiring leadership of Founder and Manager Br. Joseph Crasta, the team successfully reunited Mr. Luttu Budhu (Mansid Topno), a native of Gan Barka Toli, Vill-Gari, Lappa Post, Jharkhand, with his family after a long separation of five years. This reunion brought immense joy, emotional relief, and renewed hope to his loved ones.

Mr. Luttu Budhu had gone missing several years ago due to mental health challenges, leaving his family in prolonged distress and uncertainty. He was found exhibiting symptoms such as poor personal hygiene, social withdrawal, and self-muttering, indicating the need for immediate medical attention and psychosocial care.

He initially received treatment at the Government Mental Health Centre, Kuthiravattam, Kozhikode. Later, on January 09, 2026, he was safely brought by Nursing Assistant Mr. Girish and admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for continued care, structured rehabilitation, and family tracing efforts.

During his stay at Snehalaya, Mr. Luttu Budhu was provided with comprehensive and scientific rehabilitation services, including psychological assessment, regular counseling, medication, daily care, and social reintegration support. Through the dedicated efforts of the team under the “Prathyasha” project, his family was successfully traced in Jharkhand.

The reunion was successfully carried out on March 31, 2026, at Jariyagarh Police Station in Jharkhand. He was warmly received by his wife, Ms. Sabina, along with his son and daughter. The emotional moment of reunion, after years of separation, was filled with tears of joy and marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

This inspiring incident once again highlights Snehalaya’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and the visionary leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta. The organization continues to extend care, treatment, and hope to destitute individuals suffering from mental health challenges, ensuring their safe rehabilitation and reunion with families.
