Manjeshwara, April 08, 2026: In a heartwarming act of compassionate care and dedicated service, the team of Snehalaya Charitable Trust successfully reunited Mr. Aslam Pasha , a native of Kumbar Beedhi, Nagamangala, Mandya, Karnataka, with his mother after a period of distress and separation, bringing immense relief and emotional joy to the family.
Mr. Aslam Pasha was initially found in a vulnerable and distressed condition at the Manjeshwar bus stop on February 16, 2026. He was observed to be emotionally disturbed, exhibiting symptoms of Thought Disorder (TDS) along with a depressive mood, indicating the urgent need for psychosocial care and protection.
The situation was responsibly brought to attention by Mr. Badhrudeen, an auto driver, whose timely intervention played a crucial role. Acting swiftly on the information, the Snehalaya team, under the compassionate leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, reached the location and ensured his safe rescue and admission for care.
Following his admission, Mr. Aslam Pasha received structured rehabilitation support, including mental health evaluation, counseling, medication management, and continuous care in a safe and supportive environment. Through persistent efforts, careful assessment, and coordination under the azim premji philanthropic initiatives (appi) process , the team successfully traced his family.
The reunion was successfully carried out on, March 30, 2026, when Mr. Aslam Pasha was warmly received by his mother at Nagamangala, Mandya. The moment was filled with deep emotion, gratitude, and relief, marking a hopeful new beginning.
