Snehalaya Reunites Mr. Aslam with His Mother After Five Months of Separation

Manjeshwar, April 03, 2026: In yet another heart-touching act of compassion and dedicated service, Snehalaya Charitable Trust, under the leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, successfully reunited Mr. Aslam, a native of Azad Nagar, Sitamarhi District, Bihar, with his mother on March 24, 2026, after five months of separation, bringing immense joy and emotional relief to his family.

Mr. Aslam had gone to Chhattisgarh for work, from where he later went missing for nearly five months. His whereabouts remained unknown until he was found in a vulnerable and distressed condition at Mangaluru Central Railway Station.

On January 09, 2026, he was noticed wandering at the railway station, exhibiting symptoms such as self-talking, wandering behaviour, poor personal care, and tobacco use, indicating the need for immediate intervention and care. The case was first identified by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Mangaluru Central Railway Station, who promptly informed Br. Joseph Crasta, enabling swift action.

Responding without delay, the Snehalaya rescue team reached the location and safely rescued Mr. Aslam. He was then admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre on January 09, 2026, where he received proper care, medical support, continuous monitoring, and psycho-social rehabilitation.

Under the compassionate guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, consistent efforts were made to understand his background and trace his family. Through dedicated follow-up and coordination, his family was successfully located in Bihar.

On March 24, 2026, Mr. Aslam was reunited with his mother in an emotional moment filled with happiness and gratitude. His family warmly received him, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of Br. Joseph Crasta and the Snehalaya team.

This successful reunion stands as a powerful example of humanitarian service, timely intervention, and the unwavering commitment of Snehalaya in restoring lives, dignity, and family bonds.
