Snehalaya Reunites Mr. Soni with His Wife and Son After Nearly Two Years

Manjeshwar, April 02, 2026: In a heart-touching act of compassion, Snehalaya Charitable Trust, under the leadership of Br. Joseph Crasta, successfully reunited Mr. Soni, a native of Vivekanand Colony, Manendragarh, Koriya District, Chhattisgarh, with his wife and son after 1 year and 8 months of separation, bringing immense relief to his family.

A former auto-rickshaw driver, Mr. Soni had a three-year history of mental illness without treatment, which led to substance use, emotional instability, and repeated episodes of leaving home before he went missing.

On January 24, 2026, he was found in a highly distressed and helpless condition near the Manjeshwar Bus Stand. At that time, clear symptoms of mental illness were observed in him.Recognizing his condition, Mrs. Vijaya, Mr. Zakaria, Mr. Mujammil, Mr. Basheer, and Mr. Ali responsibly informed Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, about the situation.Understanding the seriousness of the matter, Br. Joseph Crasta immediately took action along with his rescue team, setting a true example of humanity, compassion, and care.

Following the rescue, Mr. Soni received necessary care and rehabilitation through Snehalaya. Under the continued guidance of Br. Joseph Crasta, his family was successfully traced in Chhattisgarh.

On April 01, 2026, he was reunited with his wife and son, in an emotional moment filled with joy and gratitude. His family, along with neighbours, expressed heartfelt thanks to Br. Joseph Crasta, Snehalaya, and Shraddha Foundation for their dedicated efforts.
