In an emotionally charged reunion, Mr. Jagpal, a mentally ill individual missing for over a decade, was finally reunited with his brother, thanks to the concerted efforts of Kripa Bhavan, Kannur, Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center, Manjeswaram, and the Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation. The joyous yet poignant event marked the end of a long, arduous search by Mr. Jagpal’s family, who had almost lost hope of ever finding him.Mr. Jagpal vanished 13 years ago, leaving his family in a state of perpetual worry and despair. Despite their relentless search, the trail went cold, and with every passing year, the hope of finding him dimmed. Tragically, the anguish of their missing son and brother became too much to bear for Mr. Jagpal’s parents, who passed away without the closure of knowing his fate.However, fate had a different plan. Mr. Jagpal was found at Kripa Bhavan, a facility in Kannur dedicated to the care of mentally ill individuals. Recognizing the importance of family and the healing it can bring, Kripa Bhavan, in collaboration with Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center and the Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation, embarked on a mission to trace Mr. Jagpal’s roots and reunite him with his surviving family members.The breakthrough came when these organizations managed to connect the dots back to Mr. Jagpal’s brother, who had never given up hope of finding him.This reunion not only signifies the relentless spirit of hope and compassion but also highlights the critical role of social organizations and rehabilitation centers in bridging gaps and healing families torn apart by mental illness and circumstances. Mr. Jagpal’s story is a beacon of hope for many families still searching for their missing loved ones, reminding them never to give up hope.As Mr. Jagpal begins a new chapter of his life with his brother by his side, their story is a powerful testament to the human spirit’s resilience and the incredible work done by organizations like, Snehalaya, Kripa Bhavan and the Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation in rekindling lost bonds and nurturing the fragile threads of family.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 27.01.2024ರಂದು ಕೇರಳದ ಕಣ್ಣೂರಿನ ಕೃಪಾ ಭವನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಜಗಪಾಲ್ ಎಂಬ  ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು 12.10.2013ರಿಂದ ಕೃಪಾ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತಿದ್ದ ಆದರೆ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು  ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23/02/2024ರಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಬಾಗ್ಪತ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಹದಿಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ತರು ಕಣ್ಣಿರಿಟ್ಟರು.ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
