On April 10, 2023, a destitute individual named Manjula was found wandering the streets of Brahmagiri, Udupi. She was rescued and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre for Women by a concerned member of the public and the Udupi police.At the time of admission, Manjula was suffering from mental illness and related problems. However, after receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, her condition improved, and she began to share her whereabouts during counseling sessions. For her further reunion process, she was transferred to Shraddha Mumbai.On January 16, 2024, Manjula was successfully reunited with her family in Warangal, Telangana, after a separation of six months. The family expressed overwhelming joy at seeing her again. According to the family, Manjula had been grappling with mental illness for the past 25 years. They conveyed their gratitude towards Snehalaya and Shraddha Centre for their selfless service.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 04.10.2023 ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಗಿರಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜುಳಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಪೋಲಿಸರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.

ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಭಂದಿಸಿದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದಳು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಆಪ್ತ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಮುಂದಿನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 16.01.2024ರಂದು ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದ ವಾರಂಗಲ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕಣ್ಣಿರ ಸುರಿಸಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಂಜುಳಾ ಕಳೆದ 25 ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದಳು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
