A young man suffering from mental illness was rescued from KCRoad, Manjeswar and brought to Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation centre on 28th March 2021, by Snehalaya team. The care, concern and treatment transformed the young man and he responded to the treatment. He disclosed that he hails from Haryana. Snehalaya team identified his address and his mother rushed to Snehalaya on 8th September 2021, along with her son-In-Law. There was heavenly feel when the mother embraced her lost Son. Their hug showered tears and emotions spoke silent words.

ಒಂದುವರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸೇರಿದ ಹರಿಯಾಣದ “ಸಾಗರ್”
ತಲಾಪಡಿಯ ಕೆ.ಸಿ ರೋಡ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದು ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯುವಕನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು 28 ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2021 ರಂದು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತೂ. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಯೋಗ, ಆಟ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಆತ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬೇಗನೆ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. 8 ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2021 ರಂದು, ಸಾಗರ್ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋದರ ಸಂಭಂದಿ ಯೊರ್ವರು ಹರಿಯಾಣದಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದರು. ತಾಯಿ ತನ್ನ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವರ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಸುರಿಮಳೆಯಾಯಿತು.
