Manjeshwar, October 10, 2025: After five long years of separation and uncertainty, Mr. Harichand was emotionally reunited with his brother, sister, and mother a moment filled with tears, joy, and gratitude. This heart-touching reunion was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

A native of Sahajanpur village in Haroni Taluk, Lucknow District, Uttar Pradesh, Harichand had left his home several years ago in search of employment and subsequently went missing. His family, having lost all contact, lived in distress and hope for years, unaware of his whereabouts or wellbeing.

On July 10, 2025, Harichand was found wandering in a disturbed mental state near the Mulki–Surathkal Highway. He was noticed by Mr. Kiran Kumar, an employee from Karkala, who immediately informed Mr. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Acting promptly, the Snehalaya rescue team reached the spot and safely brought Harichand to their Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar.

There, he received timely medical care, psychological support, and holistic rehabilitation. Through sustained efforts and compassionate intervention, Snehalaya successfully traced his family in Uttar Pradesh. With the joint coordination of Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, Harichand’s long-awaited family reunion took place on October 8, 2025.

The reunion, held at his home in Sahajanpur, was an emotional scene his mother and siblings embraced him with tears of relief and happiness. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to both organizations for their humanitarian service, care, and dedication in bringing their loved one back home.

This reunion stands as yet another inspiring example of Snehalaya’s and Shraddha Foundation’s unwavering commitment to “restoring lost lives with dignity and hope.”

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 10, 2025: ಐದು ದೀರ್ಘ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ವಿಭಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ, ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣ, ತಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿದ ಕ್ಷಣ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ ಅವರ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಲಖನೌ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹರೋನಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಸಾಹಜಾನ್ಪುರದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರು ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಹುಡುಕಲು ಗ್ರಾಮವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು, ಆ ನಂತರದಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಅವರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ದುಃಖ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಜೀವನ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿತು.

2025ರ ಜುಲೈ 10ರಂದು ಮುಲ್ಕಿ–ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸೈಕೋ–ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಆರೈಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾದ ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರ ಹಾದಿಚಾಲನೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ಅವರ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಮುಂದಾಳತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ 2025ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 8ರಂದು ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.

ಸಾಹಜಾನ್ಪುರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ವೇಳೆ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರ–ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು ಹರಿಚಂದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ನಡುವೆ ಆಲಿಂಗಿಸಿದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಿಯವನನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಜಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

“ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಜೀವಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ” ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
