Manjeshwar, October 4, 2025: In a heart-touching reunion filled with emotion, 28-year-old Mr. Rishab Verma was reunited with his mother and younger brother after being missing for more than two years. This reunion was made possible through the dedicated collaboration between the Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, and the Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai.

A native of Agra, Rishab had previously worked at a BPO company. However, following his father’s death, he experienced intense emotional distress, which gradually affected his mental health. His condition deteriorated as symptoms of mental illness became more apparent. Although no official complaint was filed after his disappearance, his mother and brother continued their search for him tirelessly.

On June 28, 2025, Rishab was found wandering near Nanthoor Circle, Mangaluru, by a local resident, Mrs. Juliana, who promptly informed Bro. Joseph Crasta, the founder of the Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Acting swiftly, Snehalaya team rescued Rishab and admitted him to the Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men in Manjeshwar. There, he received immediate medical care, psychological support, and a safe environment for recovery.

As Rishab’s health improved, the Snehalaya team began tracing his identity and worked relentlessly to locate his family. Their continuous efforts finally bore fruit when, with the help of the Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, Rishab was reunited with his family on August 25, 2025. The reunion was deeply emotional his mother broke down in tears of joy and gratitude upon seeing her son after so long. Snehalaya also provided counseling to the family, emphasizing the importance of understanding Rishab’s mental health condition and ensuring regular follow-up treatment and emotional support.

This reunion not only highlights the importance of mental health awareness but also showcases the compassionate role of organizations like Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation in restoring dignity, hope, and family bonds for individuals battling mental illness.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 04, 2025: ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, 28 ವರ್ಷದ ರಿಷಭ್ ವರ್ಮಾ ಅವರು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸಹಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

2025ರ ಜೂನ್ 28ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಂತೂರು ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಬಳಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಿಷಭ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜುಲಿಯಾನಾ ಗಮನಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿತು. ರಿಷಭ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಪುರುಷರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ-ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
