Manjeshwar, September 20, 2025: In another moving example of humanity and compassion, Snehalaya Manjeshwar and Shraddha Foundation Mumbai collaborated in this reunion, where Mr. Irshad Ahmad was joyfully reunited with his brother on August 28, 2025, after being missing for one year and four months. The reunion brought immense relief and happiness to his family and villagers in Mau, Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Irshad, son of Mr. Akhtar Ahmad from Madanpura village under Dakshin Tola Police Station in Mau district, had a history of mental illness for the past seven years. Prior to his illness, he had been employed at a sweet shop, but later fell into addiction to charas and ganja, which worsened his condition. Despite his disappearance, no missing person complaint was lodged by the family, leaving his whereabouts unknown for over a year.

On July 5, 2025, the Snehalaya Charitable Trust team found Irshad wandering in great distress at Badiyadka Junction, Kasaragod, following information provided by Mr. Raju Stephen Crasta of Narambady. He was immediately rescued and admitted to Snehalaya, where he received shelter, treatment, and compassionate care. The trust also made continuous efforts to trace his background and locate his family.

Thanks to these efforts, Irshad was successfully reunited with his brother on August 28, 2025. His family expressed their heartfelt gratitude, while villagers and neighbors praised the moment, appreciating the work of Snehalaya in restoring Irshad to his loved ones.

This heartwarming reunion once again underscores the vital role of Snehalaya Charitable Trust in giving hope, healing, and second chances to individuals and families torn apart by mental illness and displacement.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 20, 2025: ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣೆಯ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಜ್ವಲಂತ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬೈನ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮೌ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಟೋಲಾ ಮೂಲದ ಶ್ರೀ ಇರ್ಷಾದ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 28, 2025ರಂದು ಸಂತೋಷಭರಿತವಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಈ ಮಿಲನವು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರವಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿತು.

ಮವು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಟೋಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಮದನಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅಖ್ತರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಇರ್ಷಾದ್, ಕಳೆದ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅವರು ಸಿಹಿ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಚರಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಂಜಾ ವ್ಯಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಯಾವುದೇ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

2025ರ ಜುಲೈ 5ರಂದು, ನರಂಬಾಡಿ ಮೂಲದ ರಾಜು ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬದಿಯಡ್ಕ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತೀವ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇರ್ಷಾದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ತಂಡ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ತಕ್ಷಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಸೇವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವ ಶ್ರಮವೂ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
