Manjeshwar, August 19, 2025: In a heartwarming act of compassion, Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Manjeshwar, in collaboration with Shraddha Foundation, Mumbai, successfully reunited Mr. Pallav Bhowmik with his uncle, aunt, brother, sister, and other members of his village community after being missing for the past three years.

The reunion was deeply emotional as Mr. Bhowmik’s family broke down in tears of joy, while villagers and neighbors also expressed immense happiness at his safe return.

Mr. Pallav Bhowmik, an MA graduate and former primary school teacher, had unfortunately fallen into bad company, which led him into substance abuse and later into mental illness. Due to his deteriorating health, he lost his teaching career and eventually went missing. Despite the family’s continuous efforts, they were unable to trace him for years.

On July 8, 2025, Kiran, a resident of Karkala, noticed Mr. Bhowmik wandering in a mentally unstable condition near Suratkal Road. He immediately informed Br. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. Acting swiftly, Snehalaya’s rescue team reached the spot, brought him to their care center, and provided continuous medical attention, rehabilitation, and psychological support. Over time, Mr. Bhowmik regained stability and shared details of his family and hometown.

Finally, on August 16, 2025, he was joyfully reunited with his relatives in Shishagabguri village, Cooch Behar district, West Bengal.

This reunion stands as a shining example of humanity, compassion, and perseverance. It highlights how dedicated efforts by organizations like Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation can restore dignity, hope, and meaning to a person’s life.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 19, 2025: ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಂಬೈ ನ ಸಹಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲ್ಲವ್ ಭೌಮಿಕ್ ಅವರು ಕೊನೆಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾವ, ಅತ್ತೆ, ಸಹೋದರ, ಸಹೋದರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಊರಿನವರೊಡನೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಭೌಮಿಕ್ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಭಾವೋದ್ರಿಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರೂ ಈ ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲ್ಲವ್ ಭೌಮಿಕ್ ಅವರು ಮೂಲತಃ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎಂ.ಎ. ಪದವೀಧರರು. ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟಸಂಗದಿಂದ ವ್ಯಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ, ನಂತರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾದರು. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆ ಬಳಿಕ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪಟ್ಟರೂ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಕಳೆದ ಜುಲೈ 8, 2025: ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲ್ಲಬ್ ಭೌಮಿಕ್ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಕಿರಣ್ ರವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ರವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ತಂಡವು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಪಲ್ಲಬ್ ಭೌಮಿಕ್ ರವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರು ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಕೊನೆಗೂ 2025ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 16ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಕೂಚ್‌ಬಿಹಾರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಿಶಾಗಬ್ಗುರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಧುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು.
