Manjeshwar, August 4, 2025: At around 6:45 p.m. on Madantyar Road in Belthangady Taluk, a man identified as Mr. Jitendranath was found wandering in a state suggestive of mental instability. The incident was noticed by a public-spirited citizen, Mr. Steavan Montiero, who promptly informed the founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Br. Joseph Crasta.

Mr. Steavan personally transported Mr. Jitendranath to the Snehalaya Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwar, where he was admitted for care.

According to Mr. Steavan Montiero, at the time of rescue, Mr. Jitendranath appeared disoriented and exhibited signs of severe mental distress. An initial medical assessment confirmed that he requires urgent treatment and continuous care. Necessary mental health support is now being provided, with the aim of facilitating his eventual reunion with his family.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ್, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 4, 2025: ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮಡಂತ್ಯಾರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೆ 6:45ಕ್ಕೆ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರು. ಈ ದೃಶ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀವನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಬ್ರ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮದೇ ವಾಹನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
