Manjeshwar, July 1, 2025:  25 year old Ranjith Kumar from Sahibganj district, Jharkhand, emotionally reunited with his family after five months of separation.

During the reunion held on June 30, 2025, his sister, other family members, friends, and villagers welcomed him with immense love. Ranjith, who had been suffering from mental illness for the past three years due to substance addiction, had become severely weak. He used to work in agriculture and brick construction, but as his condition worsened, he lost his job and one day went missing from his village. Despite the family’s desperate search efforts, they were unable to trace him and remained deeply worried.

On May 5, 2025, based on information received from Mrs. Asha, a staff member at Suratkal Railway Station, Ranjith was rescued from the station with the assistance of the rescue team from Snehalaya Charitable Trust in Manjeshwar. At the time of rescue, he exhibited poor hygiene, wandering behaviour, and symptoms of mental illness. He was then admitted to Snehalaya, a mental rehabilitation centre for men in Manjeshwar, where he was provided with comprehensive medical care, psychiatric treatment, and counselling. After 40 days, his family background was traced, and Snehalaya, with the support of Shraddha Foundation, reunited Ranjith with his family.

The reunion was an emotional moment for everyone. His family, villagers, and neighbours embraced him with tears of joy, celebrating his return.

This heartwarming reunion highlights the importance of community support and compassionate intervention. Organisations like Snehalaya Charitable Trust and Shraddha Foundation continue their mission of rescuing vulnerable individuals, rehabilitating them, and reuniting them with their families, bringing hope, dignity, and new beginnings to thousands of lives.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಜುಲೈ 1, 2025: ಐದು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್‌ನ ಸಾಹಿಬ್‌ಗಂಜ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ 25 ವರ್ಷದ ರಂಜಿತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾದ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು.

ಜೂನ್ 30, 2025 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು, ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ ವ್ಯಸನದಿಂದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಂಜಿತ್‌ರವರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಕೃಷಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರು, ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹದಗೆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮದಿಂದ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ತೀವ್ರ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರ ಸುಳಿವು ಸಿಗದೆ ಆತಂಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.

ಮೇ 5, 2025 ರಂದು, ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ಅವರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡದ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ರಂಜಿತ್‌ ರವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕೊರತೆ, ತಿರುಗಾಡುವ ವರ್ತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ರೋಗದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು ಮತ್ತು ರಂಜಿತ್‌ನನ್ನು ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಎಂಬ ಪುರುಷರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು 40 ದಿನಗಳ ನಂತರ ರಂಜಿತ್‌ರವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ , ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ರಂಜಿತ್ ರವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
