Manjeshwar, May 30, 2025 — In a moment that brought tears, joy, and long-awaited relief, Shanti fondly known as Pinki during her time away was reunited with her family after five months of heartbreaking separation. The emotional reunion took place in Mubarakpur, Sadiabad, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, with her parents, husband, two brothers, and four sisters embracing her with overwhelming love.
Shanti, a married woman whose husband works in Mumbai, had been silently battling mental health issues for the past two years. Her struggles often led her to disappear without warning, leaving her family in constant worry and despair. When she went missing again, hope began to fade until a miracle unfolded.
On April 3, 2025, the Kanhangad Pink Police found her wandering near railway tracks in Padannakkad, Kerala lost, disoriented, and vulnerable. They brought her to Snehalaya Charitable Trust who provided her with two months of intensive care, medication, and counseling. The compassionate team there didn’t just treat her—they listened, understood, and helped her slowly reconnect with herself.
As her condition improved, Shanti was transferred to the Shraddha Foundation, which worked tirelessly to trace her roots and initiate the reunion process. And on May 30, that long-awaited day arrived.
Shanti’s family, who had endured months of anxiety and sleepless nights, could barely contain their emotions. Her mother wept. Her siblings embraced her tightly. Her husband stood in silent gratitude. It was more than a homecoming it was the restoration of a soul to its sanctuary.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಮೇ 30, 2025 — ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನ ಆನಂದಭಾಷ್ಪಗಳ ಸುರಿಮಳೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಾ ಶಾಂತಿ (ಪಿಂಕಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವಳು) ಐದು ತಿಂಗಳ ಯಾತನಾಮಯ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾದಳು. ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಗಾಜಿಪುರದ ಸದಿಯಾಬಾದ್‌ನ ಮುಬಾರಕ್‌ಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಪಿಂಕಿಯ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಗಂಡ, ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಹೋದರರು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಗಂಡ ಮುಂಬೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಶಾಂತಿ, ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಆಕೆಯ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಆಕೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ನಿರಂತರ ಚಿಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹತಾಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಭಾರಿ ಆಕೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಾಣೆಯಾದಾಗ, ಮನೆಯವರ ಆಸೆಯ ಕಿರಣ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸತೊಡಗಿತು.

ಆದರೆ ಒಂದು ಪವಾಡ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 3, 2025 ರಂದು, ಕೇರಳದ ಪದನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಡ್‌ನ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಹಳಿಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಞಂಗಾಡ್ ಪಿಂಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಗೊಂದಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ದುರ್ಬಲವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ತೀವ್ರ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಔಷಧಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಕರುಣಾಮಯ ಕರ್ಮಠ ತಂಡವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ  ಅವರು ಆಕೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು, ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುವಂತೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು.
