Manjeshwar: On May 28, 2025, the compassionate team from Snehalaya, led by Br Joseph Crasta, rescued a 38-year-old man, Mr. Dharvind, near AJ Hospital in Mangalore. Found aimlessly wandering, Mr. Dharvind identified his native place as Madhya Pradesh.
He speaks only Hindi and shows signs of prolonged distress — a history of alcohol use, tobacco dependence, disheveled appearance, and poor personal hygiene.
Now safely housed at Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Men, he is receiving the care and support he so urgently needed.
Snehalaya is making every effort to trace his family and restore him to the life he once knew.

ಮೇ 28, 2025 ರಂದು, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಎ.ಜೆ (A.J) ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಮನೋವೈಕಲ್ಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ತನ್ನ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು. 38 ವರ್ಷದ ಶ್ರೀ ಧರ್ವಿಂದ್ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
