Manjeshwar : In a deeply emotional reunion, Manju was finally reunited with her father after being separated for five long months. Her disappearance had left her family devastated, sparking a desperate search across the region.
Manju’s life had been filled with hardship ever since her love marriage to a man from Haryana over 20 years ago. The couple had three children—two sons and a daughter—but their relationship was fraught with constant conflict. One day, her husband abandoned her at Haldwani station, leaving her injured and vulnerable. She was eventually found by police and handed over to her brother. Despite her painful experience, Manju returned to her husband, only to face further turmoil, leading to her disappearance from her in-laws’ home in Haryana.
Thanks to the relentless efforts of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundations, Manju was rescued by the team of Snehalaya on December 1, 2024. She was provided support and care before being transferred to Shraddha Foundation, where the process of reuniting her with her family began. Finally, on March 8, 2025, Manju was joyfully reunited with her father. Her homecoming was met with overwhelming relief and celebration by her family, villagers, and neighbors, all of whom warmly welcomed her back.
