Manjeshwar, West Bengal: In an emotional and heartwarming reunion, Zareena, who had been missing for 15 long years, has finally been reunited with her family. On March 7, 2025, she embraced her husband, children, siblings, and relatives once again, after years of uncertainty and pain.
Zareena’s disappearance stemmed from a family dispute over property and farming land with her brother. This conflict took a toll on her mental health, leading her to leave home one day in distress. Her family, though devastated, never gave up hope, filing a missing person’s report and searching relentlessly.
After more than a decade of separation, Zareena’s journey home was made possible through the efforts of Snehabhavan Calicat, Snehalaya, and the Shraddha Foundation. She was first brought to Snehalaya on January 14, 2025, before being transferred to Shraddha Foundation, which ultimately helped bring her back to her loved ones.
The reunion was filled with tears of joy, as Zareena’s family, neighbors, and the entire village welcomed her home with open arms, celebrating the end of a long, painful chapter and the beginning of a new one, together again at last.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳ: ಕಳೆದ 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸರೀನಾ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನMarch 7, 2025ರಂದು ಜರುಗಿತು. ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ದುಃಖ, ಹಾಗೂ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆ ಬಳಿಕ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪತಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಸಹೋದರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪಿತ್ರಾರ್ಜಿತ ಆಸ್ತಿಯ ಹಕ್ಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷಿಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವು ಸರೀನಾಳ ಮನೋಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರಿದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ, ಅವರು ನಿರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದರು. ಈ ಅನಾಹುತದಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಆಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದರೂ, ನಿರಾಶೆಯಾಗದೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ತಮಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ದೂರಿನ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರಂತರ ಶೋಧವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದರು.

ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ಸಂತಸ ಭರಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಸರೀನಾಳ ಕುಟುಂಬ, ಬಂಧುಬಳಗ, ನೆರೆಕೆರೆಯವರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಜನತೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಕೋರಿದರು. ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕತೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ, ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿತು.
