Manjeshwar: In a deeply emotional reunion, Chandini Malpaharia, who had been missing for eight agonizing months, was finally reunited with her husband and son on January 27, 2025, in Darjeeling, West Bengal.

Chandini, originally named Suman, had been battling mental illness for seven years before going missing. Her plight touched the hearts of many, but hope was restored when she was rescued by Br Joseph Crasta and the dedicated team from Snehalaya Charitable Trust on December 4, 2024.

Following her rescue, Chandini underwent extensive treatment and care. Her recovery was supported by the compassionate efforts of Snehalaya, and later, she was transferred to Shraddha Foundation to help facilitate the reunion process with her family.

The reunion was filled with overwhelming joy, especially for Chandini’s young son, who was thrilled to embrace his mother once again. Family members, neighbors, and villagers celebrated this miraculous moment, expressing their gratitude for the tireless work of Snehalaya and Shraddha Foundation in restoring hope and reuniting a family.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ: ದುಃಖದಾಯಕ ಎಂಟು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಚಾಂದಿನಿ ಮಲ್ಪಹಾರಿಯಾ ಅವರು 2025ರ ಜನವರಿ 27ರಂದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ದಾರ್ಜಿಲಿಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಗನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದ ಭಾವೋದ್ವಿಗ್ನ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ನೆರೆದವರ ಕಣ್ಮನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಶ್ರುಧಾರೆಗಳಿಂದ ನೆನೆದವು.

ಚಾಂದಿನಿ, ಮೂಲತಃ ಸುಮನ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು, ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿಚಾರ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಬೇಸರ ಮೂಡಿಸಿತ್ತು, ಆದರೆ 2024ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 4ರಂದು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ತಂಡ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹತಾಶೆ ಭರವಸೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
