Manjeshwar, December 25, 2024: The Snehalaya team, led by Mr. Jovial, Trustee of Snehalaya, successfully rescued Devalal Nirala, a 32-year-old psychiatric patient, from Mangalore Central Railway Station. Devalal, a resident of Rajpur district in Chhattisgarh, was found wandering the station, exhibiting signs of severe depression and poor hygiene.
Following the rescue, Devalal was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center for proper care and treatment. His parents, Horilal Nirala and Gangadevi Nirala, were informed of the situation and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the timely intervention.
