On December 4, 2024, Chiki Chandni, a 25-year-old woman, was found wandering aimlessly through the streets of Manjeshwaram. In a moment of compassion, Br. Joseph Crasta, founder of Snehalaya, noticed her distress and immediately alerted his team. The team at Snehalaya rescued Chiki and brought her to their Rehabilitation Home for Women, where she is now receiving care.
