On December 3, 2024, the compassionate team of the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre rescued a young man, Nithesh, from the Central Railway Station in Mangalore. Nithesh, a 28-year-old native of Gwalior whose mother tongue is Hindi, wandered aimlessly, displaying poor personal hygiene and a conspicuous swelling on his right leg.
Moved by his plight, Snehalaya admitted Nithesh to its facility in Manjeswar to provide care and rehabilitation. The team is working tirelessly to uncover his past and reunite him with his family, who may be desperately searching for him.

28 ವರ್ಷದ ನಿತೇಶ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು 2024 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 3 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮನೋಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ತಂಡ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿತು.
ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿನಿತೇಶನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದ. ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈತನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಇರುವುದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ. ನಿತೇಶನ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆ ಹಿಂದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆತ ಗ್ವಾಲಿಯರ್‌ನ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
