Mangalore, October 6, 2024: A mentally ill patient, identified as Mr. Thirumalai, was rescued by the Snehalaya Team while wandering on the streets of Hampankatta.

Mr. Thirumalai, whose current whereabouts and family details are unknown, exhibited psychiatric symptoms, prompting the Snehalaya Team to intervene and provide assistance.

The patient is currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center, Manjeswaram.

The authorities are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that may help identify Mr. Thirumalai’s family or reunite him with his loved ones.
