Manjeswar: On October 22, 2024, the dedicated Snehalaya team, led by Br. Joseph Crasta, rescued 33-year-old Saleem, who had been aimlessly wandering the streets of Thokottu, Mangalore. Originally from Mumbai, Saleem appeared disoriented, wearing tattered clothes and neglecting personal hygiene, while speaking to himself in Hindi.

ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ: 2024ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 22ರಂದು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಅವಿರತ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮಿ ತಂಡ ತೊಕ್ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಮಾರಿ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 33 ವರ್ಷದ ಸಲೀಂ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೈದರು. ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೂಲದ ಸಲೀಂ ತುಂಬಾ ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದರು – ಅವರ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ತೇರ್ಪಣೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು, ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು, ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು . ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
