Manjeswar: In a compassionate rescue effort, Pink Police Officer Mrs. Chithra saved a 48-year-old woman, Mrs. Santoshi, from the streets of Mogral, Kasargod. The woman, a native of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was found in a state of distress, exhibiting poor personal hygiene and only able to communicate in Hindi.

Mrs. Santoshi has since been admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Women, where she is receiving necessary care. Initial assessments by the rehabilitation team indicate the presence of psychiatric symptoms, though further evaluations are underway.
