In a heartwarming display of community service, Mangalore North Police Station officers Mr. Puneeth S.N. and Mr. Devaraj, along with their team, rescued a 45-year-old man identified as Ravindhar on October 2.

Ravindhar was found wandering near Rao Circle, Mangalore. He has been admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Men for care and support.

Upon rescue, Ravindhar was in poor personal hygiene and exhibited wandering behavior, communicating primarily in Hindi. Initial assessments revealed:

– Poor eye contact
– Self-talk and self-smiling
– Low-toned speech
– Social withdrawal
– Self-harm tendencies with visible cuts on his hands

Snehalaya’s team is providing Ravindhar with necessary care, counseling, and rehabilitation.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 02.10.2024ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಾವ್ ಏಂಡ ರಾವ್ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಳಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ರವಿಂದರ್ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 45 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುನೀತ್ ಎಸ್.ಎನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಇವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
