On July 23, 2024, the Udupi town police rescued a woman named Sujatha Mary Lobo from the national highway near Brahmavar. She was found shabbily dressed and was subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Home for Women.
During her treatment at Snehalaya, her condition improved significantly. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Snehalaya staff, her address was discovered, and her family was located.
On September 23, 2024, her son arrived at Snehalaya and were overjoyed to see her after two months of separation. The reunion was an emotional moment for the family, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation for their selfless efforts.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23.07.2024 ಉಡುಪಿ ಪೋಲಿಸರು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಸಮೀಪದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 50ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸುಜಾತಾ ಮೇರಿ ಲೋಬೊ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಃಇಳೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಅರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23.09.2024ರಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಮಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು.ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
