On August 17, 2024, a mentally ill person named Kailash, approximately 38 years old and a resident of Jeevan Jyothi Ashram in Chully, Kasaragod, was admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men for better care, treatment, and the hope of reunion with his family.
During his stay at Snehalaya, his condition improved significantly. As part of his continued rehabilitation, Kailash was transferred to the Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation in Mumbai.
On September 16, 2024, after 15 years of separation, Kailash was successfully reunited with his family in the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. It was an emotional moment for the family. They shared that Kailash had been a schoolteacher before going missing due to mental illness. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to both the Snehalaya and Shraddha Rehabilitation Centres for their selfless efforts in making this reunion possible.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 17.08.2024 ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಚುಲ್ಲಿಯ ಜೀವನ್ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ, 35ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕೈಲಾಶ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನಮಿಲನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಅರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂತು, ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ಧಾ ರೀಹ್ಯಾಬಿಲೆ‍‌ಶನ್ ಫೌಂಡೆಶನ್ ಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 16.09.2024ರಂದು ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್‌ನ ರಾಮಘರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಹದಿನೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕನಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆತ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನದ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
