The inauguration of the newly constructed house by Snehalaya Charitable Trust for Mr. Prashanth Tauro & Family, Kalasa was done on 7th July 2021 by Dr. Mahan Rajanna the ASI of Kalasa Police station and he unveiled the name board of the new house “Krupadhare” at Ganapathi Katte, Kalasa.
Shri Vinay Kumar Shetty, Principal of Government First Grade college handed over the house. Shri Manjunath Gowda, member of Samse Gram Panchyath, Shri Sudesh Suvarna well known Journalist and Mahesh Kumar a local leader spoke on this occasion. Rev Fr Francis, the parish priest of Kalasa Church blessed the new House
Mr Dinesh Yadadal, local contractor and mason was felicitated for his service. Managing Trustee and the Founder of Snehalaya Shri Joseph Cratsa praised the local leadership and thanked the donors. Mr. Prakash Pinto, Trustee, Smt Olivia Cratsa, Secretary and Trustee of Snehalaya, Building committee head Santhosh D Souza were present. Shri Geo D Silva presented key note, initiation and growth of Snehalaya and the objectives of social outreach programs.

ಎಲೆಕ್ಟಿçಕಲ್ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಳಸ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಗಣಪತಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ತಾವ್ರೋ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯು ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಂದೆ ಮನೆಯ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗದೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧಾರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಮನೆಯ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ ೭ ರಂದು ಕಳಸದ ಪ್ರಫಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ವಿನಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನೇರೆವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳಸ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಎ ಎಸೈ ಡಾ. ಮೋಹನ್ ರಾಜಣ್ಣ, ಧರ್ಮ ಗುರು ಪ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್, ಸಂಸೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್‌ನ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಜೆಸಿಐ ನಿಖಟ ಪೂರ್ವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ. ಪಿ ಮಹೇಶ್, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ ಸುದೇಶ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಯೋ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಮತ್ತಿತರರಿದ್ದರು
