On 10th of October 2019, a young woman named Sridevi was brought to Snehalaya by the Kumbla Police station, who was mentally ill found in Kasaragod district. Her condition was devastated.
At Snehalaya, under the direction of Joseph Crasta, changed her persona, responding well to care and medical treatment. She was provided with basic needs, care, counseling & timely food.
She started to take part is sports, yoga, and daily activities and was trained in tailoring. Sridevi hails from Kudloor VC Chavadi, Tamil Nadu. Upon finding the address the family rushed to embrace the lady into their family. Their hug showered tears and silent words. They expressed their agony upon this missing daughter now found alive and cured. The Family thanked Snehalaya and its team.
Sri Devi is successfully reunited with her family after one and half years.
