True to the words of Bible Snehalaya Charitable Trust is in service to mankind since 12 years. Providing housing to the needy is one of the initiatives started during the pandemic. Shri Devasi and Family of Mundaje, is blessed to have their own house today through Snehalaya.
Most Rev Lawrence Mukkushy, Bishop of Belthangady diocese, inaugurated and blessed the newly built house. Shri. Kiran Kumar CJ, Managing Director of RJC Readymix concrete and one of the donors of Snehalaya handed over the newly built house to the beneficiary.
Sr. Grace Mathias, the correspondant of Venur Navachethana English Medium school, unveiled the name board “Divine Grace” of the house, in the presence of parish priest of Mundaje, Rev Fr. Vinoy Sébastien, Rev Fr. Roshan & Rev Fr. Joy, cmf. and Santhosh Dsouza bldg. Committee chief. Shri Geo D Silva gave a wonderful prelude, objectives & activities of Snehalaya and welcomed the guests, compared the program effectively.
The Bishop said” as religious we have a big task to carry on God’s mission but the laity also is having a big role to play in social transformation. I see Snehalaya is doing an exemplary work reaching out to hundreds of families.”. He assured his prayers and blessings to carry on this mission in the future to many more. Shri Kiran admired the works of Snehalaya and said he has been very closely following Joseph’s works and very proud of such committed service. Sr Grace wished the beneficiary and said God has worked wonders through Snehalaya in this family and a sweet home for the homeless is great blessings in these difficult times. Sr. Cecily and Ms Lisha expressed their gratitude to Joseph Crasta & Snehalaya specially for the care rendered during the Corona attack that when the family was in devastating state.
Shri Mohammed the local Civil contractor was honored by Snehalaya for his exceptional work. The family honored Joseph and the Mundaje parish expressed their gratitude by presenting a sound system to Snehalaya for their yeomen service. Joseph Crasta spoke on this occasion and said we are just instruments in the hands of God. He leads us to various needy people and having experienced the shortfall of this family, with the help of donors and hard work of contractor a beautiful house is provided to Devassi. Rev Fr Joy proposed vote of thanks and a fellowship meal was served.
This is the 15th house under Snehalaya’s social outreach program, handed over to Devasi on 2.09.2021 .

ಬೈಬಲ್ ನ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. 12 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ಮಾನವಕುಲದ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂಡಾಜೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಇಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಮೋಸ್ಟ್ ರೆವ್ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಮುಕ್ಕುಶಿ ಅವರು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸಿಜೆ, ಆರ್‌ಜೆಸಿ ರೆಡಿಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾಂಕ್ರೀಟ್‌ನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ದಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು. ವೇಣೂರು, ನವಚೇತನ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿಯರಾದ ಸಿ. ಗ್ರೇಸ್ ಮಥಿಯಾಸ್, “ದೈವಿಕ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ” ಎಂಬ ಮನೆಯ ನಾಮಫಲಕವನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ ದರು. ಮುಂಡಾಜೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ರೆ. ಫಾ. ವಿನೋಯ್ ಸೆಬಾಸ್ಟಿಯನ್, ರೆ. ಫಾ. ರೋಷನ್, ರೆ. ಫಾ. ಜಾಯ್, cmf ಮತ್ತು ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರು ಹಾಜಾರಿದ್ದರು.. ಶ್ರೀ ಜಿಯೋ ಡಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ನೀಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಿಷಪ್ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಮುಕ್ಕುಶಿ ಅವರು ಸಾಂದರ್ಬಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿ, “ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಧ್ಯೇಯವನ್ನು ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಆದರೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ಸಾಮನ್ಯರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯವು ನೂರಾರು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವ ಒಂದು ಅನುಕರಣೀಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದ ಭರವಸೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಇವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ನಿಕಟವಾಗಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಹ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಸೇವೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಿ. ಗ್ರೇಸ್ ಮಥಿಯಾಸ್ ಇವರು ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರು ಈ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮನೆಯು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಿ. ಸಿಸಿಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕು. ಲಿಶಾ ಅವರು ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ವಿನಾಶಕಾರಿ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕರೋನಾ ದಾಳಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾಳಜಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರ ಅವರ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಂಡಾಜೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಡಾಜೆ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೌಂಡ್ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್ ಒಂದನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳಷ್ಟೆ. ಆತ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ದಾನಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರ ಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ದೇವಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2.09.2021 ರಂದು ದೇವಾಸಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದ ಮನೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 15 ನೇ ಮನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
